ACT Test Prep Classes
The ACT is a college admission aptitude test. Students are tested in sections of English, reading, math, and science, with an optional writing section that requires preparation of a short essay. The ACT is scored out of 36 points and usually taken for the first time in the junior or senior year of high school, depending on the student’s classes.
The ACT math section requires the completion of Algebra II. Students who have not completed Algebra II should consider starting with the SAT. Super scoring is a common practice at many colleges. The colleges choose your highest score in each subject. Because the ACT has four subjects, our students often return to classes several times (for free) to focus on improving the scores of one or two sections enabling them to reach scholarship or admission requirements.
